Terms of Service

Hey! These are the rules for using GetPublished.app ("GetPublished," "we," "us," "our"). Our website (GetPublished.app, the "Site") and services help you refine & distribute project pitches (the "Services"). By using the Site or Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. What We Do (and Don't Do)

We take your pitch info (via forms like Typeform), use AI to improve it, and send the polished version + your contact info to relevant publishers/agents ("Contacts") from our list.

Super Important: We help you make a better pitch and get it seen. We DO NOT GUARANTEE a response, interest, or a publishing deal. That depends on your project and the Contact's needs.

2. Who Can Use This?

You need to be 18 or older.

3. Your Responsibilities (The Serious Bit)

• The info and pitch content ("User Content") you provide must be accurate, legal, and yours (or you have permission to use it).
• Don't submit anything illegal, infringing, obscene, or nasty.
• Make sure your contact email works so Contacts can reach you!

4. Payment

• You pay a one-time fee per submission, shown upfront.
• Payment is needed before we start work.
• We use Stripe for secure payments. You authorize the charge.
• Fees are final (non-refundable) unless we mess up and can't provide the service, or as outlined in our Guarantee (see Site).

5. Who Owns What

• Your Pitch: It's still 100% yours.
• License to Us: You give us temporary permission (a license) to use, change (for refinement), and send your pitch only to provide the Service. This ends once we send it.
• Our Stuff: The Site, the service process, our AI methods, branding, and contact lists belong to us.

6. Disclaimers (Legal Boilerplate - Read It!)

• Service is "AS IS". No warranties that it's perfect or will get you published.
• AI refinement is a tool; results might vary. My review (during Beta) adds quality control, but perfection isn't guaranteed.
• Contact lists are curated but accuracy/interest isn't guaranteed for every contact.
• We're not liable for errors in the AI output or lack of publisher response.

7. Limitation of Liability (More Legal Stuff)

We (and our team) aren't liable for indirect damages (lost profits, data loss etc.) from using the service. Our maximum liability is limited to the fee you paid for the specific service related to a claim.

8. Your Agreement to Protect Us (Indemnity)

If you break these Terms or misuse the service and it causes legal issues for us, you agree to cover the costs.

9. Ending Things

We can stop your access if you break these rules. You can stop using the service anytime. Some rules (like ownership, liability limits) still apply even after termination.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are based on the laws of Barbades.

11. Changes to These Terms

We might update these Terms. We'll post changes on the Site. Using the service after changes means you accept them.
